Hansa.RE has purchased a multi-functional warehouse and office building at Uriekstes Street

In 2019, Hansa.RE completed the process of purchase of a multi-functional warehouse and office building at Uriekstes Street. The complex occupying a space of nearly 17,000 m2 is sufficiently large for 16 lessees.

The property is located in an industrial district and its location is one of the main strengths.

Lessees of the complex

The warehouse complex has been leased to several lessees, including warehouse network and parcel pick-up point for the well-known international parcel delivery service company LLC (SIA) “DPD Latvia”,  LLC (SIA) “ABX terminal” and others.

Purchase of the industrial terminal is a logical step towards the implementation of our strategy. We were attracted by the location of the logistics centre – the centre of Riga, however, the proximity to the port and strategic beltways is also appealing. Customers of the terminal was a second reason for our choice to purchase the complex, since we can see high potential in facilitating cooperation with customers of the logistics centre. We will also continue to develop this object in the future, since sustainability is one of the priorities of our Fund.

The transaction was financed by JSC (AS) “Citadele Banka”. Legal support for the purchaser was provided by the Law Office “CersJurkāns” and the law firm “PADVA, PARINOV UN PARTNERI”.  Parties have agreed to keep the provisions of the transaction, including the price, confidential.
